Mishel Keltner

 Skagit County Area Representative

Mishel grew up in Los Angeles CA. She played every sport she could find and ended up loving volleyball which she played into college.
Mishel met Matt at Hume Lake Christian camps in 1988 since his cabin was next to the volleyball court.
Mishel started coaching volleyball in 1993 and has been able to pursue that passion at many different levels.  She is currently coaching high school and middle school volleyball and enjoys helping girls reach their full potential as leaders and as athletes.
Mishel homeschooled their 5 children and now that that chapter has ended she is excited to be coaching at Mount Vernon High School and serves Skagit County as an Area Representative.

Matthew Keltner

Multi-Area Director Northwest Washington

Matt grew up in the Northwest and has always enjoyed being active. He played football and baseball in high school and has continued to enjoy all sports recreationally.  He enjoys all sports, guitars & music, hiking, motorcycles and history.  Matt and Mishel were married in 1989.
Matt graduated from Multnomah University with a degree in Biblical Education and has served in a variety of ministries including youth, worship, international missions (seven years in the Dominican Republic) and pastoral ministries.  During this time they greatly enjoyed the adventure of raising 5 children who have chosen to be student-athletes at the high school and college levels.
In 2018 Matt and Mishel came on staff with FCA. The end of 2019 Matt became the Multi-Area Director for NW Washington responsible to develop FCA by praying and staffing the area through ministry, talent, board and donor advancement.

Area Representatives

If you are interested in being on a team of people who are committed to Christ, love and see sports as an incredible opportunity for transformation, then FCA may be for you.
The Area Representative works with the Director and Advisory Team to fulfill the FCA Vision, pursue the FCA Mission and live the FCA Values by implementing the ministry plan for the assigned area.
In the FCA Sports Environments, the Representative ensures there is a consistent approach to discipleship -- making disciples who make disciples.
Some of the last words of Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Matthew were to make disciples - so we are following His lead.
